Prior to NAS, Neo was Director of Marketing and Community Development at Dunamis Inc, a non-profit providing professional development training to emerging artists and arts managers of color in Boston. Through this work, she has produced a number of events, including Jamaica Plain Porchfest and a masterclass series geared to having honest questions with creative entrepreneurs in Boston. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Business/ Management from Berklee College of Music and holds certifications from Harvard’s Arts and Culture Organization Management and Institute for Nonprofit Practices’ Community Fellows Program. Passionate about the arts and social change, she was a featured artist for Songs For World peace, a global initiate by musicians from all over the world to promote peace though the power of music.

Originally from Pretoria, South Africa, she is a multihyphenate creative who focuses on music, visual art and event curation. She holds deeply to sharing stories of South African history and culture through song by singing in multiple languages and promoting audience engagement as a means of building connection.

When she’s not making her friends laugh, she spends loads of her time singing at weddings, travelling, brunching and attempting to be a part-time influencer!
