Minot, ND – Strengthen ND is pleased to announce the 17 North Dakotans selected to the third cohort of North Dakota Change Network. From bridging cultural divides in Parshall to supporting vulnerable children through full-service community schools in Minot, these participants were chosen for their drive to create positive community change in the places they live and work.

North Dakota Change Network, alongside South Dakota Change Network, provides residents of the two states and the region’s 12 Native nations with a supportive learning environment to lead change within their organizations and communities in more equitable and inclusive manners. Over the next year, the two cohorts will work one-on-one with mentors and together in group discussions while attending online learning sessions and three in-person convenings.

"Change Network is an incredible opportunity for North Dakotans to engage with a diverse group of their peers who represent a multitude of backgrounds, professions, ways of thinking, points of view, and ages," said Megan Laudenschlager, Executive Director of Strengthen ND. “We are so excited to begin working with the new cohort and assist them in becoming strong community leaders.”

Begun in 2017, North Dakota Change Network is made possible through the collaboration of 3E ProductionsBush FoundationCommonSense Consulting@WorkMillerHale AssociatesNAS and Strengthen ND. Participation in North Dakota Change Network is generously funded by the Bush Foundation and includes the opportunity to apply for a small grant to assist a project which impacts the individual's organization in positive and significant ways.
