Winnie is a passionate advocate for theatre at the intersection of politics and performance. A graduate of Georgetown University, she brings three years of experience in the arts non-profit sector through her work with The Laboratory for Global Performance and Politics. There, she supported a range of artistic initiatives in collaboration with global artists from regions including Palestine and Ukraine, as well as with local creatives in Washington, D.C.
Having studied in various regions throughout the world, Winnie believes deeply in the power of the arts to humanize, connect, and create dialogue across cultures and political divides. Her studies and experiences across diverse global regions have shaped her conviction that art can serve as a vital tool for international understanding and civic engagement.
New to NAS, Winnie is excited to support programming initiatives and explore new ways to integrate art into everyday life. From empowering creatives in their artistic pursuits to helping cultural professionals refine their skills, she looks forward to contributing her insights and passion to the NAS team.
In her free time, Winnie enjoys attending live performances, watching films with friends, engaging in deep philosophical conversations, and basking in the sun with a gentle breeze.
