Stephanie Hanson brings over 10 years of experience in fundraising, program development, and leading and managing teams for nonprofit and arts organizations. She is currently working with the Bethesda, MD based consulting group, Capacity Partners, on a capital campaign and a number of strategic planning projects. Previously, Stephanie served as Leadership Development Program Manager for the national arts advocacy organization Americans for the Arts, where she led the advisory Emerging Leaders Council, and created professional development programs for arts managers across the country. In addition, she has participated as a grants panelist for both the Arts Council of Fairfax County and Alexandria Commission for the Arts. Stephanie currently serves as immediate past Board Chair for Arts on the Horizon, a theatre company in Alexandria, VA for children ages 0-6. She holds her M.A. in Arts Management from American University, and B.A. in Music Performance from Miami University of Ohio. Outside of her work and volunteer activities, Stephanie's greatest joy is spending time with her husband and young son.
