Program and Engagement Manager

Taylor is an integral member of the program design team and leads the implementation of the participant experience for NAS programs. She works closely on the Creative Community Fellows Program, The Chief Executive Program and several online initiatives.

Taylor leads the design, implementation and analysis of evaluation for all NAS programs and is the manager of the NAS internship program. In addition, Taylor manages our social media and web presence, leads marketing and communications of all NAS programs and is managing editor of our ArtsJournal blog, Field Notes.

Taylor has a background in international cultural exchange and aims to advance art as a driver of cross-cultural understanding on a global scale. Prior to joining NAS, she worked with a variety of cultural organizations in the DC area, including the Salzburg Global Seminar, Meridian International Center and Studio Gallery. Taylor served as a volunteer English and art teacher in Beçon Les Granites, France and Fort Portal, Uganda. She holds a MA in Arts Management from American University and a BA in Photography from St. Edward’s University.

She is a photographer by training and passion who still enjoys capturing the beautiful moments in her life. In her spare time, she loves to sit down to a good book, explore the world of foreign film, and check out contemporary work at her favorite DC museums. She’s an avid fan of bluegrass music and desperately wishes she was musically inclined, so she might join the likes of Earl Scruggs in banjo history. Perhaps, one day.
