Hallie Preskill, Ph.D., Claremont Graduate University
Hallie Preskill is a Professor at the School of Behavioral and Organizational Sciences, Claremont Graduate University, Claremont, California. She teaches graduate courses in program evaluation, organizational learning, appreciative inquiry and training and organization development. Her most recent books include Reframing Evaluation Through Appreciative Practices (2006), Building Evaluation Capacity: 72 Activities for Teaching and Training (2005), Evaluation in Organizations: A Systematic Approach to Enhancing Learning, Performance & Change (2001), Evaluative Inquiry for Learning in Organizations (1999), and Evaluation Strategies for Communication and Reporting (2005). Professor Preskill was the 2007 President of the American Evaluation Association. She received the American Evaluation Association's Alva and Gunnar Myrdal Award for Outstanding Professional Practice in 2002, and the University of Illinois Distinguished Alumni Award in 2004. For over 20 years she has provided consulting services and workshops, and has conducted evaluations in schools, healthcare, foundations, human service, and corporate organizations.
