Director, Communications
As National Arts Strategies’ Director, Communications, Dallas Shelby is responsible for our overall communications strategy. With a background that spans both commercial and nonprofit organizations, Mr. Shelby has served as a journalist, public relations professional, graphic designer, web site developer, online editor and direct marketing strategist. In his most recent position as the direct marketing manager for United Way of Central Maryland, he led the organization’s electronic and print marketing initiatives. Mr. Shelby has spent the past 12 years building his own online brand, a satirical magazine he founded in college. He’s also active in the arts and culture sector as an instructor and an independent filmmaker. Mr. Shelby holds a B.A. in History and Political Science from the University of Central Arkansas.
