Different Perspectives, New Ideas

Working with groups with diverse backgrounds and different points of view creates unique challenges. Bringing these different voices together is a necessary art in everything from staff projects and board meetings to volunteer recruitment and advocacy efforts. Managed well, this diversity becomes a rich resource for new ideas and solutions. Different Perspectives, New Ideas will help you work more effectively in teams - from assembling the best groups to creating an environment where challenging new ideas are welcome and heard.

Faculty

Margaret Neale is a celebrated expert on group dynamics, organizational behavior, and influence and negotiations at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Professor Neale is the John G. McCoy-Banc One Corporation Professor of Organizations and Dispute Resolution, and her executive education activities include work as the Director of the Managing Teams for Innovation and Success Executive Program, Director of the Influence and Negotiation Strategies Executive Program, and Director of the Mergers and Acquisitions Executive Program.
