National Arts Strategies has partnered with the Stephen
M. Ross School of Business at the University of
Michigan to deliver a new executive education series
for the top executives of the largest arts and cultural
institutions in the United States. The Chief Executive
Series will focus on the most pressing, and seemingly
intractable, business challenges arts and cultural
organizations face. New entertainment and leisure
trends, new expectations among donors, broad-based
cultural and demographic change, and increasing competition
are making these organizations increasingly complex
to lead. This annual executive leadership event will
target one critical challenge each year, and engage
our top cultural executives with the newest ideas,
frameworks, and expertise from across disciplines,
industries, and countries.
The Chief Executive Series has been created specifically
for the top executives of the largest cultural organizations
in the country - those in the strongest position to
create breakthrough strategies for their organizations
and to serve as examples for our field. The Chief
Executive Series is an invitation-only program. Each
year's event will be a four-day residential program
at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, leveraging
all the resources of the Ross School and the University.
We have selected the University of Michigan as the
ideal partner for this initiative because of the Ross
School's cross-disciplinary approach to executive
education, top-tier faculty, and focus on application
of ideas to real-world business projects.

Series, please give
