Born and raised in Baltimore, MD, Royce fell in love with the arts at a very young age. His love for the arts led him to study both classical and jazz saxophone. He eventually left Baltimore and moved to the D.C. area to further his musical studies at Howard University. In D.C., Royce had his first experience working with arts organizations. His experience includes working with both small, grassroots organizations and large institutions.
His role as a Program Coordinator at NAS allows him the chance to interact with many program participants. He is responsible for serving as the frontline of communication for program participants in the Executive Program in Arts & Culture Strategy, maintaining updates of online classrooms and organizing online seminars.
